I love this book, very clever and an interesting way to look at the Fermi Paradox.
BUT I could only give 4 stars for performance as it was hard to hear some of the words when the characters were meant to be whispering, or mumbling (except for Shortbus).
to hear it I have to skip back and really turn up the volume, especially if listening while driving or walking or making noise of any kind.
I know that they are whispering, but maybe there is a way to make it a tonal whisper, so I'm not deafened when it goes back to normal speaking.

A huge relief to find a book in this genre that doesn’t feel the need to inflate its word count with embarrassingly awkward harem elements!

The book made be audibly laugh more than a few times and even cry a little bit

Also the narrator is incredible he brings so much life into the book, it is astounding

Great start to the series, I bought this on the back of McClain's work on Noobtown and am happy to say, this more than lived up to expectation!
