I listened to all of the previous stories in the Savannah universe so I waited until this new entry was released in audio. I am so glad I did, apart from it being a great new story that picks up where we left off, the act of listening to Tristan James took me right back to the centre of the story world. This story revisits characters from all of the previous books and it felt so familiar, like visiting with old friends. The crime to be solved in this story was close to home for the boys and was not the main focus but kept alongside with us becoming reacquainted with Savannah. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next with Sawyer and Royce.
As mentioned earlier it was such a treat to listen to Tristan James give life to these favourite characters. A perfect performance as always.
