Publisher's Summary

My name's Noah Kilmartin. I'm from Ruddock, Ohio, and I'm just about 50 percent unqualified to save the universe from the slavering demonic hordes of the super evil bitch queen Lilith.

But just when I thought things were starting to look up...

My companions and I arrive in Tagimron, the sphere of discordance. It's a hellscape on wheels, and every aspect of this claustrophobic and grimy world is intent on tearing my companions and I apart. Our only chance of resisting corruption and failure is to hold fast to the bonds that unite us, the love and faith that keep us strong.

But Tagimron is a world designed to exploit our greatest weaknesses, to weaponize our fears, doubts, and traumas. As perilous as our foes may be, the greatest danger in this sphere may very well be ourselves.

Wish me luck. We're all going to need it.

Warning and minor spoilers: The Manifold is an 18+ book intended for mature listeners. It contains graphic sex and copious amounts of medieval violence.

Incredible

This series has easily become one of my favourites. The character building in this book was intense. I can only hope it's building up into some epic future books. Im not great with reviews but I love this series. Cannot recommend it enough

Amazing next chapter.

Once again Mike knocks it out of the park. He has shown how far he is willing to go with his books. He creates characters that continue to grow and change throughout his books. This series is not your normal trashy harem but is instead an epic story with depth.

35 hours that never let you down!

By The Source!

This audiobook book is a wild ride from the first chapter up until the last minute of it's 35hrs!

I shit you not, there no filler, no dawdling, not a moment of the 35hrs felt wasted. The way the pace flows, it allows you to get into the action without missing any time with each of your favorite characters. Each scene is given its moment and allowed to breathe without feeling stymied. It is just stupifying how well it was pulled off.

Mike Truk seriously knocks it out of the park again! The tone, the pacing, from the depths of horror, to the heights of love, and sinfully wicked scenes that show you just why Imogen is best girl. I loved it!

I worried for Noah, Neveah, Valeria, Brielle, Imogen (best girl), and Emma after their chaotic and terrifying run through the Sphere of Gogiel and what awaits them in Tagemron, the Sphere of Disruption and Disharmony. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! There they will face challenges that will test their bonds to each other and perhaps to their very souls.

If you like well developed (and continually developing) characters, heart pounding action, wickedly devious women, and sounding reminder that with, love, trust, and honestly you can face anything then look no further!

But seriously, stop! Buy the book already! If only for the scene with Imogen in the armchair, you will thank me!

3rd book

This book in my opinion is where the story really grasps you. Where you really see character growth. I will say I wasn't invested in this series as much as I am now that I have read this book.

Hot Damn....The best yet!

Mike Truk is the Tolkien of this type of literature. However, where Tolkien would brow-beat you senseless with elven words and constant 'telling', Mike does most everything through showing, or dialogue, in such a fluid manner, that when you're actually being told, you dont notice. The words flow like warm water, and the style is fun.

The narrator does such an excellent job distinguishing characters and his performance was riveting!!

As for the story... Wow. Constant tension at pleasurable levels, excellent characters and character growth, and an MC you wouldn't recognize from the first book. This book was stimulating, and not just in the steamy way it writes erotic scenes. I mean I genuinely felt for the characters, and you felt each one find new personal heights and growth... And that final... nah. I wont spoil it.

If you read this and feel nothing, I dare say you might just be dead inside. Or are probably the antithesis of creation.

soft porn

Sadly this third book in the series has gone overboard and ends just soft porn. Really enjoyed the series often did have long erotica parts but this third book spends lots of time on erotically and less on the real story.....sad

Good addition to the series

I enjoyed the character progression. Leo gets a bit too frenetic at times, almost slurred, but I've got used to it over the series. Looking forward to the next one.

Wow! Just wow!

4.5 rounded up this time out.

I've said previously that this isn't a genre I'm particularly fond of and I bought all 3 in a special offer without reading the full blurb with the 18+ warning, only the initial blurb and 4+ averages here and on GR.

I think Mike Truk is really beginning to excel with this series - I read somewhere that he initially started trying to write epic fantasy but received constant poor feedback and eventually decided to write something 'fun' instead. This presumably explains why we now have a strong plot arc and serious character development, not only of the MC and the secondary partners, but also on tertiary characters.

The reason I dropped half a star was due to the partial resurrection of the Five Trials type plot line and while our MC Noah may still appear a bit whiny, for me it's actually endearing that he's playing over things again and, more importantly, learning from his mistakes and growing. He's now developing from the underpowered and overawed character from Five Trials in to the rock on which the team is built.

I do feel that this series would stand up well if the all the sex (aka 'bonding') was either insinuated (it is in places here) or glossed over and I don't think I can offer better praise really.

So, that said, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the continuing adventures of the 10th Saviour and his trusty companions...

Leo Barnabas does an excellent job - the only thing stopping me giving him 5 stars is the occasional bit of over-excitement when the situation doesn't really merit it. He also does a generally good job of giving each character an identifiable voice but there are the odd slips where a couple of characters are a little too close in their assigned voice.

Easily my favourite series

Imagine watching Steve Rogers slowly transform into Captain America, but instead of a secret serum, the transformation requires hard work, lots of mistakes and a whole load of sex.

Book 3 is where you start to reap the rewards of Noah's lowly beginnings, with him becoming the rock upon which his entire team revolved around.

I highly recommend this series to fans of progression fantasy, harem lit, dark fantasy - as the series contains gritty, magical violence, grounded characters and great emotional and character arcs.

Once again, a great read by Leo Barnabas!
