A very satisfying POV from Keris & Zarrah weaving together their tale of romance.
I really love Danielle Jensen as an author and have read all of her stories ❤️
Look forward to her next book in The Bridge Kingdom world 😍

Ok yes I’m here for Danielle Jensen!
I did enjoy the bridge kingdom, but it wasn’t my fave series, it lacked some of the spice and intelligence that I get from other series. This one was much more my vibe. I didn’t think I would like the characters but I did. You can really tell Danielle is developing her writing and I anticipate each book to get better and better, she’s one to watch for sure.
Also the narrators do an excellent job on this one, and I like how there’s some production on it, sound bites really make the difference to the atmosphere and I wish they would be used more on audible.
Overall, if you enjoyed her other works, you will love this. If you haven’t read her yet, this would be where I would start, even though it runs parallel to the initial series. Loved it.

The males voice put me off
The narration of Michael was almost robotic.. it put me off the story TBH.. I’m 7 chapters in but I may just buy the book and read it instead of listening to it.

A decent book in a decent series.
I would like a little more emotionally climatic scenes as a payoff, but what we get feels real and stasfying.
The story and characters around them feel well-developed. The war planning, politics, and landacape are interesting. Nothing feels like an afterthought.

AMAZING
This is not the last book in the series!! This is however a new romance with the same war and settings. This is the forbidden romance between Zarrah and Kerris and their amazing story about both how they met, but also, how they overcame their upbringings to trust each other. Like I said before, this is not the last book in the series and does end on a cliffhanger which definitely leaves you wanting to read the next book as soon as possible… but you can’t!! I am so annoyed that the next book is not out yet to continue seamlessly with the story of Zarrah and Kerris. I do look forward to it though. Again, if you have gotten this far into the series, I would definitely recommend this book. I hope you find you love it just as much as the others. Enjoy!

It wasn’t until 1/3 of the way through,
that it hit me … I know where I am !

Amazing book
I’ve read book 1 and 2 prior to this book and It’s amazing books. Narrator was good to hear entertains me while doing my routine work. Thanks for the brilliant thoughts and logic of the author. I loved it 💕.
