I have listened to all the popular books of this genre but nothing beats Bridge Kingdom series in my opinion. I can’t believe it’s free on audible. Enjoyable right from the start but very addictive towards the end. The plot, the twist and of course the love story all so well written and presented. Both male and female narrators were excellent. I can’t wait for the next one!

Oh my! This book is just as amazing as the rest of the series!

Ahnna has been present through every one of the Bridge Kingdom series so far and yet she remained mostly an enigma, up until now!

Her storyline stems from the same starting point as Aren and Lara's did and, although she hates it, there are quite a few parallels between her story and her brother's.

The Twisted Throne starts right in the action, flows into character growth and ends with a major bang! That cliffhanger? It's a thing of beauty! There is a plenty of resolution to the main arc of the book but there is also so much in question and so much drama to occur.

I have really loved the relationship between James and Ahnna. James won't be stealing Keris' crown in my mind but he is most definitely a great MMC. And Ahnna, lovely, complex, strong, stubborn Ahnna is very much in keeping for the strong MFC that Danielle writes so well.

Now, the question is... What to do until book 6 comes out?!

As per the previous instalments in this series, the audiobook is amazing, the narrators do an excellent job bringing this book to life!
