Story
During a brush with the Sons of the Long Knives, Gwion earns the trust of Keridwen and is offered employment at her Castell in Gwynedd. There the goddess is brewing a potion of prophetic insight and secret wisdom, destined for her monstrous, shape-shifting son, Morvran. But an ill-timed accident on the final day of his task sees Gwion inherit all the potion's supernatural abilities. In a shapeshifting battle, Gwion is swallowed by Keridwen, and upon her return to human form the Goddess discovers that she is pregnant. A punishment imposed on her by Gwyn ap Nudd, Lord of the Otherworld, dooms the goddess to carry the babe in her womb for decades.

We've been at war with them for our entire existence, yet completely blind to their machinations. Etheric parasites are secretly infecting the world's population, feeding off the cosmic light of our spirit forms that connect us to higher dimensions. Earth must follow its own path for a time while the gods battle elsewhere. Noah, storyteller and chronicler, tutors the children born after colonisation and must explore the past to fill in the gaps in his written histories. Tory, Maelgwn and Rhun recall their life and times in ancient Britain when Maelgwn reigned as High King of the Britons and Tory was a student of time travel and immortality.

Publisher's Summary
The adventure of a lifetime...or two, or three.
When Sara is gifted a beautiful antique chair as a wedding present, she is completely unaware that it is one of a unique pair. On the other side of the world, the chair's twin is presented to a reclusive artist, Jon, as a birthday gift.
The two new owners are thrust into a mind-expanding adventure through the ages - medieval East Anglia, Scotland, France and India. In each instance they experience significant junctions in their lives past, to remember and redress ripples of karma they set in motion and thwart an evil entity that still threatens their present-day lives.
Their journey exposes a cursed love affair spanning 1,000 years and 10,000 miles. Only the full realisation of their own shortcomings will prevent the tragic reoccurring outcome of their immortal bind.

2nd reading as good as the 1st
This multilifetime journey of Karmic entanglement is beautifully written.
As usual, Edwina Wren is masterful.
Together, Traci and Edwina, take you on fabulous foray into times and places where your imagination is provoked and stroked with the imagery and the characters. You cannot help but gain real life insight into how your own karmic cycles, and other incarnations, work to contribute to who you really are now, and why your life twists and turns as it does.
