Publisher's Summary

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME. OR IS THERE?

After an 'incident' one wet Friday night where he is found walking naked through the streets of Cambridge, Professor Andrew Martin is not feeling quite himself. Food sickens him. Clothes confound him. Even his loving wife and teenage son are repulsive to him. He feels lost amongst an alien species and hates everyone on the planet. Everyone, that is, except Newton, and he's a dog. Who is he really? And what could make someone change their mind about the human race . . . ?

Great book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read, but also had enough substance to really make you think about what it is to be human. It had plenty of laugh out loud moments. I recommend it.

Great book .. little let down with ending

loved the story and characters. couldn't put it down... but the ending was a little too simple. could have done with a bit more of a twist l. still right up there as a favorite .

Incredible

I can’t find the words to explain how I feel. I wanted to finish the book to find out what happened but also did not want it to end. Could not stop listening. Matt Haig’s writing is amazing, unlike anything else I have ever read. This is the 3rd of his books that I have listened to, and the second one that was read by Mark Meadows. I could listen to his voice forever. I have enjoyed all 3 books so much that I have ordered the paperbacks to read myself. Awesome! Do yourself a favour. Ready for the next one now.

So good

This is the second book Ive read by Matt Haig. I really enjoy the stories he writes about, thought provoking and relevant. This made me laugh out loud so many times with the literal observations about humans. It has English references with football and the like. Looking forward to to listening to more of his writing!
