Rama sat in his beach chair on Santa Monica beach after graduating from CalTech in 2019 with his MS degree in Biochemical Engineering and determined that the planet was descending into dystopia; it was time to leave.

With his groundbreaking air, water, and soil molecular reconfiguration technology, he created a secret society to construct a pilot colony using only the in-situ resources of the site. The 150-person team built an above ground, under ground and underwater facility at the base of Mauna Kea in Hawaii, to prepare them for life on another planet.

But, conflicts began brewing! Their gorgeous but headstrong Muslim social scientist was preparing to create a Muslim community. Bernadette, their sexy synthetic biologist began a 60's style sexual revolution which discouraged monogamous couples and encouraged a promiscuous evening ritual. Lastly, their exotic Egyptian princess who they recruited to chronicle their journey through hieroglyphics was manipulating the members through ancient psychological techniques and recruiting them to follow her.

Rama's society was no longer his, but he still had to keep the peace for the society to succeed. On top of that, the team had to thwart an underwater spy attempt, but their oceanographer came up with a very creative marine science solution
