Great Advice on Working Out without the Gym

This audiobook is perfect for the current situation. What I like the most, is that these exercises can be done nearly everywhere and you don't need any fancy equipment. Bodyweight training is so underrated and can be used to lose weight and gain muscles. Now there are no more excuses why somebody can't do sports. Also stretching is important, what is also explained well. I can really recommend this audiobook.

Great workout tips

I used to go to the gym every day, but those days are over in a post-pandemic world. I was looking for an alternative and didn't want to spend thousands on equipment, so this book fit the bill nicely. The only downside was the narrator talks a little slowly, but that was solved by listening at 1.4 speed.

Move youself!

An amazing audiobook that opened up my eyes to home workouts.
I always went to the gym because I thought I couldn't track my progressions and enter in a routine just by myself.
Instead, this book gave me the info I was looking for - even if I didn't know!
I am working on targeting my weaknesses, and I think I am doing a great job, and a big help is from this book too!

Wow!

Just what I needed! Since my gym has been closed since covid started I have been looking for something of this sort. Love that calisthenics is something I can do even if my gym remains closed. Every aspect is explained in detail in the book and I am already doing the routine provided and looking forward to amazing results!

Informative Resource

I came across this audiobook “The Gym-Less Workout Calisthenics: Bodyweight Training Creating Ridiculous Physiques Without the Gym“, which is great because learning more about Body Weight Training was something that I wanted. With this audiobook I am able to discover ways on how to become better at Calisthenics. The lesson on following a professional routine stood out to me. Recommended listen.

Perfect timing for this workout

I downloaded this audio book for a 14 day quarantine during which I was unable to attend a gym. The exercises have been effective and the overall approach has made me rethink how I approach fitness. Fancy machines aren't what's important for building a balanced body. The book explains the countless ways you can create your own resistance. I'll be using these exercises going forward at home, on vacation, in hotel rooms, etc. Its a handy guide.

Perfect book to be fit even if you can't go to gym

This book is very helpful, especially for people like me, who always overthink and have massive social anxiety. After listening to this book, I feel hopeful, and now I have some work to do with myself after knowing and understanding the root cause of my problems. I am a person who likes to train, but at the same time, I am very social too. I never did it at home before this pandemic. But sometimes you have to go against your way, so I started training at home. I picked this book because I want to know more about home workouts or, as the author says, GYM-less workouts. Honestly, I gather a lot of information regarding Calisthenics' training and some information and ideas I never knew before even though I have been working out for a long time. The good thing is author refers to use some of the basic equipment like pull-up bar and all, but also he came up with various alternatives like basic home furniture you can use for your training which is very helpful in my opinion because most of the people may not be able to get that equipment, but an alternative solution to that is great. Overall it's a really helpful book, and definitely, if you follow this book, no one can hold you back to achieve your goal with your physique even if you can't go to the gym. I would definitely recommend this book.

Great for the Non Gym User Like Me

Lots of useful information. Now that all the Gyms are closed where I live, this book is more useful than ever. It really helped to target my weaknesses and get on the right track with split workouts.

Highly recommending

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It's really helping me to keep my home work out routine and not really miss the Gym. Truly Covid-19 left no choice but to avoid Gym as much as possible, but this audiobook really made it easier to adjust.

Forget The Gym!

Was looking for an easy Calisthenics program for working out at home during COVID, and The Gym-Less Workout
Calisthenics: Bodyweight Training Creating Ridiculous Physiques Without the Gym was the perfect title for my needs. It covers all primary muscle groups, without the demand of complex or expensive equipment. The audio format works well for performing each exercise, step by step as the narrator reads the process. This is the perfect tool not only for COVID, but for traveling without access to a gym, or anyone looking develop a strength training routine independent from an external gym.

calisthenics is t how nature thought of sport

A workout audiobook's advantage is that you don't need to flip your book (or kindle) as you are doing the exercises. In addition to the fact that going to the gym cannot be our routine in 2020, I like having an audiobook that guides me step by step into the calisthenics. I think that how nature thought of sport - using your bodyweight and gravity to improve your fitness.

Getting in shape!

This book is fully packed with information on how to do exercises even at home, using just body weight.

I found the audiobook version very interesting, it is possible to listen to the exercise methods and many tips and advice on how to stay motivated.

I really appreciate the explanation of all the common mistakes people (as myself!) often make and how to avoid them.

Who need a gym when you have this book?

I never thought I'll listen to a workout audiobook because I'm such a visual person but this audiobook makes explanation for exercises so easy to follow. (Disclaimer: I'm pretty familiar with different workouts and exercises due to playing sports in high school.) I like that this book highlights the importance of sleep, diet, and consistency in conjunction with exercising as part of our overall health. This is such a relevant book for 2020 especially for people who are still wary of going to the gym and being out in public.

Straight to the point, clear and conise

As a massive fitness person, I loved listening to this audiobook. It provided such a clear and concise outline what you should follow and how to to do the specific movements. I loved how you added different variation and unique ways to do certain movements, making them easier or hard, depending on what you want. this is a great book and a great stepping stone for anyone who's looking to get into the calisthenics world.

An excellent guide to bodyweight training!

This audiobook provides a lot of excellent guidance and tips for working out. I learned so much that I didn't know before that is definitely helping me on my journey to getting fitter. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who is struggling to see results in the gym and anybody who wants to get it right the first time!

No more gym for this one

I was never a fan of going to the gym, calisthenics is a better fit for me personally. I really enjoyed this audio, great content with lots of tips, varied workouts and easy to follow instructions. If you're looking for a nice workout at home, would definitely recommend you give this guide a listen.
