About this listen

Silent waters hide the deepest secrets

A wildlife photographer plummets to his death above Fingal's Cave. A young fisherman vanishes without trace. The body of a marine scientist is pulled from the sea, his last recording a haunting piece of evidence. Three seemingly unconnected events on the Isle of Mull draw Private Investigator Teàrlach Paterson back to his childhood home.

Hired by the photographer's widow to investigate her husband's death, Teàrlach quickly unravels a tangled web of family feuds, forbidden love and deep betrayals. The photographer’s death was no accident and with the missing fisherman's father dying in hospital, Teàrlach must find his son before it's too late.

But as a violent storm closes in, Teàrlach discovers that some will do anything to keep their darkest secrets buried…

Love this small series of thrillers. The characters are well written. Great atmosphere mostly todo with the environments the stories play out in. The books are really easy to continue reading. I’m waiting for the next one.
