Publisher's Summary

Against all odds, four friends have advanced the sciences, influenced world media, and created a world government.

But the aliens are coming. Will it be enough?

Can Nick, David, Cindy, and Jake save the Earth, or will they be wiped out with the rest of humanity?

It will take a colony ship, battlecruisers, a mission to Mars, exosuits, and casinos on the moon. They have all looked toward the future since they were 16 years old.... But the future is now.

not great, doesn’t meet expectations

when I first started this series I was expecting a hardish sci-fi story exploring the topic of successfully overcoming an alien invasion. The initial premise introduced in the first chapters of the first book also served to confirm that belief, however this story by the second book has become merely another bog-standard gratuitous sci-fi combat story. While still of passable quality amongst that genre it pales in comparison compared to what the story could’ve been, what the author seemed to be trying to write and also what I was paying money to listen to.
Also the story is riddled with USA nationalism
