Publisher's Summary

There is hope. But first you must find it.

As a horrific war with the ruthless Berrillians heats up, a new, more deadly threat arises - a mythical race known as the Last Nightmare, intent on destroying the universe. Once more, fate calls upon Jon Ryan.

An alliance is made between old friends and bitter enemies. Cooperation is the only thing that might just save them all.

But all the fighting, all the death, and all the suffering are changing Jon. With each passing crisis, his humanity ebbs further and further away.

Can Jon pull one more miracle out of his hat? Is the cost of survival worth his soul?

the story goes on. then stops

the performance of this book is the most outstanding part of it.
still, it has enough twists to keep the interest and mind ticking.
and I would recommend you to listen. the humanity of everyone is a deep point to take away and think about.

Good series

Enjoyed the premise, even if it seems a tak off of the "Bobs" Series. However, things were flowing well through the series til the end. It really felt like the author said "well, my deadline is tomorrow, so I better wrap this up in one paragraph.". Very disappointing

My chapters are out of their order!

If anyone can have a look at the order of chapters. I have chapters 34 to 37 labeled as chapter 2 to 5... And chapter one starts at chapter 6....

Thank you

Scott Aiello brought this series to life!

Honestly, this one of the best narrated series I have ever heard on Audible. The story was good and to finish it is like staying good bye to an old friend. Scott brought this world to life with his pace, the accents and the individuality he brings to these characters was incredible. Hats off to Craig Robertson for a unique and funny story but Scott Aiello really brought it to life.

it kinda ends out of nowhere. I love these books. I just wish the ending didnt feel so abrupt and impersonal.

Wonderful story, Amazing Narration

The story is truly epic and is a great continuation of the series. Scott Aiello has done such a great job bringing these characters to life. This is worth a listen if you have been following the adventures so far.

Excellent Story and Performance

I started this series thinking it was going to be another non-ending series but found instead an exciting and humorous book with a beginning and a good ending.

its ok...

story is ok but I feel like the author kills off the main villain way to fast. Super hero John Ryan never gets to meet his Lex luther, joker, or frieza... As soon as the villain gets to momentum going John kills him easily enough. With that being said the other aspects of the story are pretty good.

another strong installment.

this was a great third installment to a series I have been thoroughly enjoying. the universe creation was fun and unique enough for a space junkie like me to not get bored with it. I do have a weakness for snarky main characters, so check. overall, I did really enjoy all three of these books and look forward to more from thos author.

I enjoyed this series, but this is the weakest addition. Not a satisfactory ending (actually bad).

Scott Aiello is the best part about these books. He should win an award. Yeah

First to book great 3rd ruined it

The first two books were very good the storyline followed well although towards the end of the second book the storylines became Labour-sum. The third book need to really finish with something new the last night mare were killed of to easily and then the deforeact too . I could of dealt with both of these points if it wasn’t for the ending which for me ruined the whole series the John Ryan charter would never of chosen that route it was a lazy disappointing ending.

Not as good as the previous two book's

I really did struggle to finish this 3rd book. From the beginning to the end I found it boring, at least the earlier books I wanted to keep listening, not with this one. Glad there will be no more as I think John Ryan is well played out.

Lazy

Love the concept of the series as a whole - just lazy with solutions to problems. Everything just seems much too easy and quickly resolved.

Long but rushed

Great idea, but...... It was rushed in parts, this is a review of the three books. the big bad 'the last nightmare' were rather easily defeated, as were most of the other big bads. John Ryan with his 3 centuries of life didn't grow in anyway. Its an okay series but I saw many of the plot points coming from light years away. The narrator did well with what he had to work with.

Awesome

This series was recommend to me, I hadn't come across Craig's work before, but I'm so glad I did. Scott is definitely up there in my top narrators with R.C. Bray

I LOVED this series, I hope there's still more to come. Scott's performance is fantastic.

amazing series of books

I absolutely loved these books. the characters were great, larger than life,, just what you need in a sci-fi book. The narrator was superb and the main character Jon, will be a friend I will miss for a long time! superb! it is a shame that only the first 3 books of this series have been narrated. over to kindle it is then 😁

disappointing ending

I have listened to all three volumes and have enjoyed them all, but I have too say that the ending of the final story is very disappointing.
