Love for Gamer's

Loved this idea in the old movie, love this new take on it even more. Quick fun read. Great narration. Hope the whole series will be available on audible.

I enjoyed the story, but narration wasn't for me

I enjoyed the story of Alexi and Jamie, but the narration was really working for me. I stopped listening to the book several times over the course of a week because the different voices appeared to be overly emphasized, and I couldn't imagine a supposed strong Star fighter would sound the way its narrated.
Maybe, it's just me, but I didn't really enjoy the audio narration.

Disappointed

I was eager to start this series as a big fan of SciFy, badass FMCs & after the reviews of its parallelism to the old movie. Epic fail unfortunately. There was so much more that could’ve been done with it, the FMC was weak, over-sexed (at inappropriate times) and was just not smart. I think you could tell the narrators struggled too. Bummer.
