Which just happens to be the cut-off date for being called up for the testing of the blood. I thought I was in the clear, turns out that I was wrong. I don’t know all the ins and outs of the whole dragon tribute selection process, only that it has something to do with a person’s DNA.

I love grace Goodwin's books and this series plotline is so different to the rest of her books.
However I want to know what happens!
Apart from that the series is a great easy read.

Unfinished audiobook
Just 1 problem, the audiobook is not complete.
The chapter 15 and the epilogue are nowhere to be found.

I loath stories which end on a cliff hanger, ESPECIALLY when the first 2 books at least completed the pairs story. NOT happy Grace Goodwin. apart from that not so minor hiccup, love it.

Really Good
This is the story of Lily and Darius and it is full of misunderstandings based in very different life experiences that will rip the pair apart if they can’t fully communicate and just to add to it all they are in the midst of a brutal and bloody war. There are perceived betrayals at every turn mixed in with brutal fighting in the war and a scorching hot sexual attraction that leads to panty melting sexual encounters, the perfect mix to be exact and I highly recommend this book and the series as a whole.

a little disappointed
overall I enjoyed the story, but found the female lead a bit annoying. the biggest disappointment was the ending which felt like it came completely out of the blue. this book is shorter than most of Grace Goodwin's others and I felt like the ending was why.

a great interstellar love story
I got exactly what I expected from a Grace Goodwin book.
70% story 30% hot sex scenes..
Lilly and Darius
and a love story over all...
I did have to speed up narration as Tor sounded half asleep...
