About this listen
Short-listed, ABIA Awards, 2023
The ancient wisdom in this audiobook will give you tips, practises, inspiration and motivation that can enable you to achieve a state of mind, body and spirit wellness you didn't think possible.
Tired of going around in circles? It’s time to reconnect with your story and make it the best story possible.
The Dreaming Path ensures our life journey is one of fulfilment. The path has always been there, but in the modern world, it can be hard to find. There are so many demands on us—family, health, bills, a mortgage, a career—that it can be hard to remember what’s most important: you.
Through conversations, exercises, dreamtime stories and key messages, Paul Callaghan and Uncle Paul Gordon will share knowledge that reveals the power of Aboriginal spirituality as a profound source of contentment and wellbeing for anyone willing to listen. This ancient wisdom is just as relevant today as it ever was.
The tools provided in this audiobook will give you tips, practises, inspiration and motivation that can enable you to achieve a state of mind, body and spirit wellness you didn’t think possible. Are you ready to connect with the Dreaming Path—to heal, renew and live a good story? It all starts with the first step.

"This book is a must for every family home, with so many tips, tools and stories that will relate to everyone who reads. It’s a peek inside the life of the 'old ways', which have the potential to unite a country." (Joe Williams, advocate and author of Defying the Enemy Within)
"The insights about leadership are powerful and timely. This should be required reading for anyone entering a leadership position in any walk of life." (Dr Bruce Perry, co-author with Oprah Winfrey of the number one New York Times best seller What Happened to You?)
"Beautiful storytelling. Every Australian needs to read this book." (Hugh van Cuylenburg, author of The Resilience Project)

The experience of this audiobook would be enhanced by a pdf to accompany it to detail the diagrams and exercises or something even reference where each exercise is.

Some of the discussion after the stories is given a structure that sometimes felt to me a bit like a lesson at a Trade School or TAFE (where Paul Callaghan taught and worked in leadership roles for many years), which will work for some listeners but perhaps not others. But apart from that, I can recommend this book for its wise self-help advice brought by men who are grounded in real life experience and their connection to the land and a wise, grounded culture that is over 60,000 years old.
