Artorian shrugged off moonfall and war like it was a gentle rain and must now face new trials. Specifically: life in the world created by the Dungeon Core, Cal. Unfortunately, Cal has only put together the most bare-bones of systems. He's no stranger to solving near impossible problems; how difficult could it be to smooth out the slew of angry Mages with bitter rivalries, uncountable hidden secrets, a complete inability to cultivate, and a Dungeon creating messes at full speed? One way or another, it is up to Artorian to pick up the pieces.

Too corrupted to even take the first steps, the sly old elder simply agreed with those who told him that it was impossible. Breathtaking

Publisher's Summary
Sandra managed to survive the first major incursion from the nearby Orcs, thanks in part to the help a certain half-orc/half-dwarf provided. However, Kelerim left her dungeon to seek out his father, leaving her all alone with just Winxa - her dungeon fairy - as company.
With the loss of her new friend comes some opportunities, at least; she now has the freedom to craft whatever she wants, and the threat of her dungeon core’s destruction from outside forces is practically absent. She even has the opportunity to upgrade her core size, unlocking additional constructs for use as dungeon monsters, as well as a new core-specific skill.
Unfortunately for Sandra, a particular action outside of the dungeon has unintentionally drawn attention to her activities, and there’s now a very serious threat to her survival. Racing against the clock, the crafting-based dungeon needs to find a way to prevent her destruction, all the while dealing with the problems her expanding area of influence has created.
Because it’s not only the nearby races that she has to deal with - but the nearby dungeons, as well.
This dungeon core story contains litRPG/gamelit elements such as statistics and leveling and a heavy crafting emphasis. No profanity and no harems.

Needs more editing
The author has rather redundant word usage, often using similar words right next to each other. The lists in the book easily take over a minute to read, and several are repeated far too often for my taste. The use of acronyms did more to confuse me then anything else. Finally the narrator has a habit of cutting off the end of some words, making it hard to understand her occasionally.

OMG my ears are bleeding
so don't get me wrong. love his work but i got the whole series HOPING there would be less stats and that the ...like , totally, omg, like gag me with a spoon narration quality would improve. the narrator CONSTANTLY ends sentences of statement with that god awful nasally tone that squeaks up to make it intone as a question versus statement. sends pain from my eardrums down my spine every time. don't know if i can finish this one to cringe through the third or just turn them back in for credit. i most certainly could not bring myself to sponsor any future purchase by any authors that have hired this narrator

More crafty goodness!
Great story and narration! Sandra is back and up to her crafty ways! Dungeons are still feared and exterminated if found. She manages to catch the attention of the Elves and accidently brings calamity to a Gnome village. Can she survive the fallout and make amends for her unwitting mistake? This is a fun and well developed adventure. If you like crafting or base building stories and enjoyed the first book in this series, then you will definitely enjoy this book. This story is engaging and has great characters, a well developed world and an interesting magic system. Louise Cooksey's narration was expressive and brought the characters to life. She starts off a little throaty, but gets back into the swing of things within the first few minutes to the book. Most people probably wont even notice. I loved this book and am eagerly waiting the next book in the series!

The Author reads too many dungeon statistics
The Author tends to fill up a lot of time with statistics about dungeon core materials, He therefore wastes over an hour each book, with this. this misleads his listener in thinking the book is 10 hours long when it is 8.5 hours in length. Although the book is interesting it is very disappointing because of the above. Less statistics would be great, I do not enjoy fake writing, since you have talent for writing its a pity.

She's trying
Better narration than book one. It is like someone actually reached out to Louise Cooksey with constructive criticism after listening to that one. Still has parts that I wanted to stab my ears at, but much better on the whole. I actually find myself looking forward to book three to see if she improves more.

Strong follow-up and escalation for the series
While not really the ideal place to join the series, it would be possible, although you'd be better off experiencing it from the first book. This instalment in the series picks things up directly from where book one ends and does a very good job of expanding the immediate scope of the world of the first book, introducing new races for Sandra to somehow try and communicate with, while also introducing new challenges for her to face as she expands as a dungeon and how she interacts with some of the others too. Most of the supporting cast are new in this book, so there was always the chance that the reader might need to be drawn into the series all over again, but the main character's personality and continuing development helps to ease the new cast in quite readily for the listener. The narrator's performance is a strong one that further helps to draw the listener into this story with a suitable range of tones for the cast and a general narration that helps to add to the drama when needed. Overall, a very good second instalment in this series, now I just have to wait for the next one.
