Uneven storytelling
Given the high ratings, I almost feel guilty writing this review. Almost..... It took awhile for the narrator to start having fun with the story (or maybe it was the just the writing overall), but it took at least 2 hours before I started to like either. I almost stopped but for the high ratings. Then the story got better and there were some rip roaring laughs -- the skeletons were my favorites. Killing and dismemberment were kept to a minimum, and the story flowed until the last three or five hours. There seemed to be time travel? I kept going back and relistening; it didn't help. By the end I didn't care.

Kid's Book
Adolescent humor and kindergarden mentality. Finished it, but wished I had not. I kept expecting there to be some development towards less kiddy interactions but the end of the book was just as bad as the beginning. Warning to those who enjoy engaging reads, don't waste a credit on this book.

A different take on dragons and etc
This story starts out fun. A different take on dragons, demons, faeries and other fantasy characters. In the beginning it was pretty hilarious but by midway, it starts to drag on and on and on. The story seems to be going nowhere. I'm not going to finish listening to this story.

Fun story
It is fun from the go. I stays fun all the way through the humor and the 'serious' parts.
The characters are a blast even if a little over the top hence 4 not 5 stars.
If you're looking for a D&D land fun story, then you should enjoy this.

Bizarre but fun.
This is one of the strangest stories I’ve ever read, basically if someone decided to write a crack fanfic of a fantasy story and turn it into a novel. That said I was laughing often enough that it doesn’t feel right to give this anything but a high rating.

A 5 yr old is the strongest Man- err DRAGON alive.
In a world where might makes right, a boy is adopted into a family of dragons.
The boy is raised as a dragon and firmly believes he is a dragon. Because he is one, never contradict a dragon.
The world is structured similar to a progression fantasy world. Where the strongest warriors train to become SSS ranked adventurers.
Vur, the main character, has nor ever will care about that. He is the strongest by default, no human, elf or demon can ever hope to fight a dragon.
He is simply a child who enjoys what a child enjoys. With a family of dragons that treats him like their own child, with their own morality and will give him anything within their power. Which is everything.
Virlyce has a knack for writing funny stories with over powered characters. If you like One Punch Man the anime. This story shares many of the same positive qualities.
The supporting characters share the spotlight, everyone has flaws and qualities that make them feel alive and unique. My favorite character was Priscilla.
A dragon who is desperate for a mate, has a love for romance novels and willing to do borderline blasphemous things simply because she's bored. (grimmy is a close second).
Mare trevathane is a talented voice actor, she is great at giving each person a personality. Which has gotten me addicted to this world. Thank you for such a great performance.

No real story. Spoilers
Nothing really happens in the book. The MC i really OP and just does what he wants, there is no villan to stop, quest to do or anything else. An IF he needs to do something he just does it. Wants to be king? Does it - no resistance, it takes him like 1 second of just displaying his magic.

Some fun moments, overall a bit mediocre
I only got halfway through this, unfortunately. I struggled to feel engaged by the storyline, to me it feels like a series of fairly unconnected events that just happen one after another, all at quite a slow, ponderous pace. Perhaps some momentous event occurs at the end of the story that miraculously ties everything together? Sadly i couldn't remain interested long enough to find out. The passage of time doesn't feel "right", and the main characters' ages don't make a lot of sense to me.
I didn't find a lot of comedy in the writing, and what there was is generally on the level of toilet-humour. There's also quite a few "modern" colloquialisms that felt out of place to me.
Some of the characters are well written, in particular the demon girl and the guardian of the fountain, but many others feel very incidental and under-developed. The dragons are entertaining, although they feel to me like the story wouldn't really change a lot if they weren't there at all.
I suspect this style of book just isn't my thing. It reads a bit like a group of people playing a DnD campaign. "Levels", "Classes", etc, are a Thing in this world, characters are aware of their own numerical stats. To me that makes it feel as though the characters themselves are playing a game, and not really taking their own actions seriously.
