Having autoimmune disease is not fun. This book gives you a way out. I have some steps to go but clearly my health has improved

I highly recommend this book for those who are beginning their AIP Journey. It explains why you need to do AIP and the importance of compliance. I really like the example of Amy's dad who received so my benefit from sticking to the AIP. A great read.

I think everyone should read this book. Even if you're not on the 'spectrum', you would gain a better understanding of those who are, and perhaps a better insight into the everyday discomfort that we all seem to take for granted.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Tanya Eby?

Not keen on the narration. I just didn't think it was the 'voice' of a professional physician.

This book has confirmed to me why I've had so many issues, and has given me a direction to fix them. I will never touch gluten again, and can't believe how different I feel without it. And that's just the beginning.

Read the PDF available through Audible, and the last chapter on the Myers website. If you are going to do the diet, for $3 (US) you can buy the 4 weeks weekly shopping lists, which are great.

There are a lot of great things in this book, however it did not deliver on anything of true value for me because it was based on many animal studies which does not always occur the same in humans and it doesnt actually give me what I was looking for in the book. however I believe she thinks she is correct and I give her credit for doing her best work. however I would recommend she cross references her work with the cited human studies (randomized, comtrolled and dou le blinded placebo controlled unbiased clinical trials that are heavily torn apart on nutritionfacts.org because she is essentially using placebo to cause people to get further into disease. it's truly sad to hear. however I am superbly happy that people are still somehow having amazing results. i hope one day she could reach out to Dr. Michael Gregor and conbined their minds to come up with a much better reginen for us all. i would like redund of this book though because I think it needs the proper information to help myself. i dontwant to be a test subject and case study while they try to figure things our

Disappointing information and diet recommendations based in pseudoscience. I was really hoping to be able to properly educate myself more about autoimmune conditions. Sadly, this is not the book for that.
