Publisher's Summary
The boy’s body was so white it was almost transparent. But that’s not what caused the nausea to rise up her throat. He was so young. His body was unmarked, surrounded by a halo of plucked wildflowers.
One hot summer evening, 11-year-old Mikey Driscoll is on the way home from playing with friends. Two days later, his body is discovered on a bed of wildflowers by some local teenagers.
The case is assigned to Detective Lottie Parker, and this time it’s personal. The victim was a close friend of her son, Sean, from the run-down Munbally estate on the other side of town. Sean tells his mother Mikey was behaving normally before he died, but Lottie can’t help but feel that her son is keeping something from her....
Then days later, another boy is found dead, surrounded by wild flowers next to beautiful Ladystown Lake.
On the hunt for a twisted individual with a terrifying calling card, Lottie must uncover the web of secrets within Mikey’s circle of friends. Someone is hiding something, but who are they protecting, and can Lottie find out before it’s too late? Lottie is desperate to catch the killer before he strikes again because this time her own child could be in terrible danger....
If you love Karin Slaughter, Robert Dugoni, and Rachel Abbott, you’ll love the latest heart-stopping thriller from Patricia Gibney. Tell Nobody will keep you guessing until the very last word.

It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to a thriller whodunnit this brilliant!
To my shame I’ve known nothing about Patricia Gibney but within the first chapter I’d become a total fan. What a fantastic writer of detective stories: her characters are superb, beautifully fleshed out. Gibneys style is smart slick and tight. And to enhance an already perfect story is the brilliant narration of Michele Moran. There are good narrators and ordinary narrators and narrators who can lift a story to another level and Michelle is one of them. In fact I’ll start looking for everything she’s ever read.
I loved this book from start to finish and can’t wait to read anything and everything else that Patricia Gibney has written.

Good series
Didn't see that coming.
I like this series. It's gruesome and deals with uncomfortable subjects but the characters are interesting and the stories are complex and sometimes surprising. There are many potential suspects that keep the reader guessing.
Lottie appeared to me to be more annoying in this book. She was rude - especially to Boyd - and seemed to forget her children too often. I hope she changes her attitude.
Narration was great, as usual. Michele Moran does a wonderful job.

As a busy, working mom of 2, I allotted 30 minutes a day to read this book. That plan did not work out so well. I found myself getting up early in the morning to squeeze in an extra 45 minutes a day to listen to this book while I went on my runs. All of the Lottie Parker series leave me dying to read the next book and this one was no different. Keep on writing Patricia Gibney! I love your characters and the twists in your books!!

Good murder mystery
I always enjoy D.I. Lottie Parker's adventures. In this book, she was a bit grumpier and a bit short with people. I suppose this is to indicate how stressed she is. I felt like I don't know who she is and I'm not sure I would want to know her in real life. Please, can Lottie have some fun? She is becoming an unlikable character.

Not Her Best
I’ve read all of the books in this series so far, and have enjoyed all of them except this one. This one is full of ridiculous situations and overuse of the device of not telling about whom they are speaking, trying to create more suspense. It just feels like a stretch. In addition, I don’t even like the main character anymore. She is becoming rude, unreasonable, and just unlikable. I’m hoping the last one will redeem the series as a whole.

Similar to all of this series
I really wish that Patricia Gibney could learn a few new synonyms for the word "said". It becomes extremely annoying listening to a conversation with "he said", "she said" "he said" "she said" repeated so frequently. It distracts from the story, which wasn't that brilliant, anyway
