Publisher's Summary

Torin Mardak came to Zarhab Groht to hunt. Some idiot's been selling Callidum weapons on the black market, and he's been tasked with finding the traitor.

The illegal trading station isn't exactly Torin's favorite place in the Nine Galaxies. It's dirty, chaotic, and full of thieves and murderers, but as an elite Kordolian First Division warrior, he's the most dangerous thing on this floating cesspit, and he won't let anything stand in his way.

But when he encounters a group of humans who really, really shouldn't be here, his priorities might just have to change, because one of them is about to get betrayed in the worst possible way....

And she just so happens to be exactly his type.

Contains mature themes.

Brilliant

This story is about Torin Mardak and Persephone Winters. They meet on Zarhab Groht, Torin there to hunt some idiot whose been selling Callidum weapons on the black market, and he's been tasked with finding the traitor, Perspehone is there on a misguided mission for the humans and she is about to get betrayed in the worst possible way... This results in Torin changing his priorities because she just so happens to be exactly his type and this results in a wild ride full of action and passion between the two of them as they come together in a flurry of sparks of passion and violence. I highly recommend this book as it follows on from the fantastic series called Dark Planet Warriors and is equally as appealing as that series was.

JF Harding again never disappoints with his spot on narration.. thank you and I'm looking forward to the next book..

A scholar and a beast all rolled into one

this was quite different to what I expected. it was great to hear Tarak come into the story.
Ms Carven wrote this book with a unique twist. we got an insight into Torin in the last book of the dark planet series, but it developed nicely in this spin off/ almost continuation .... nice to have a heroine a little different in persona and body. but she matched Torin perfectly. lots of action and hot lovin, as the story spreads to other kordolians.
JF Harding did a good job of narrating....his voice change for different characters was really well done as well as the softer tone for the heroine.

I love my Kordolians

I was thrilled to see this came out in audio. As a single narrator, I much prefer M voice to F voice, as you can pretend his yummy voice is talking to you. It was a while since I’d read this so I got to enjoy the story all over again. I love that the heroines are never tstl and the H was so deliciously protective and possessive with the conflict outside the relationship. Perfect.
