After decades with no viable eggs, humans far outnumber dragons, and the survival of the species appears bleak. The outlook for everyday humans is little better as rogue dragons raid and torment villages. Yet it’s far worse for the tamers, beaten and killed simply for serving the noble dragons. But eking by at the bottom of Alverian society isn’t any easier for 17-year-old Kaelan Younger. Harder still when her loyalty to the dragon crown is no secret.

But that was before he learned that at the end of each autumn, he would turn into a vicious beast hell-bent on destruction. That was before he destroyed his castle, his family, and every last shred of hope.

Willa Knight: Dweller? Bad-ass? Notorious pet to five magical beings? In Blesswood, there are rules, and someone is trying to teach her how to follow them. The only problem is Willa. Which shouldn’t be anything new, since she has been a problem since birth — something her pseudo-sister Emmy would agree on. So it definitely shouldn’t be new, but it is. Because things are starting to happen that have never happened before. Things are starting to get chaotic.

FOR THE LOVE OF BLUEBERRIES WHAT A SERIES!!
This was my favorite series ever!!!! I have never listened to a five series book back to back. The story line had great twists and turns. Some great and some heartbreaking, but you actually LIVED with it through the characters instead of just listening to a book. I still think about this series and their world. It is very rare this day and age to get as immersed into a book and actually "feel" their world. My only problem was when Kris Koscheski played Blake. Kris Koscheski is one of my favorite narrators, but not in this series. Erin Moon had all the characters to perfection.! I heartily recommend this book to anyone!!

I laughed, cried, my soul hurt & healed reading.
I listened to all 5 books in 2 weeks. I couldn't stop. I cried, laughed, enjoyed shopping trips, dragon flights and fights. Mrs. Wood writes life not stories. she lets us see her characters as people we could be best friends with or hate. I have never loved a series more than Tamora Pierce's books...I found a new author to enjoy for years to come.

Ugh! So frustrating!
The story line for this one is pretty good as is the nararrator. But Elana is such a fudging idiot through most of the book that at times I wish she wasn't the MC and could be killed off. She and her attitude/beliefs frustrate me to no end and I just want to shake the stupid out of her. Her stupidity at points just throws you out of the story. Yes she had stupid moments in all the other books too but it's so overwhelming in this book as almost every thought and decision she makes in this one is idiotic. If I hadn't invested all the time I already have in this series I would have not finished this book.

Great Premise, Horrible Execution
Loved the idea of dragons and riders. The world, at times, was beautiful written but I could not stand the main character. I thought there would be some more character development with Elena but she had none. The only useful thing she did was guide people and what happened at the end otherwise she was just a girl with teenage angst. I hated how she never knew anything and never tried to let anyone explain, like ever. Her inner dialogue was just incredibly annoying as she kept trying to convince us, the readers, of something that was obviously going to be the complete opposite. Blake on the other hand was lovely. He grew and changed. He had patience and overall, his development was handled much better. There was just too much drama and unnecessary repeated information. Erin Moon was such an amazing performer. Her voices were spot on and I loved how unique she was able to make characters.

Incredible Story
This is one of the best stories I have read in a long time. This story will make you laugh, will make you scared, and will make you cry. The character development was great, the ability to understand the story was great and the ability to describe her vision of the world she wants us to see is great.

The Dragonian series
I got to hear the first 5 book through audible. I was glued to this series right from the first page of the first book. So you might understand that i was so disappointed that the rest of this series including the .5’s books are not yet out on audible. I have smiled at some of the parts of the books as well as shed tears as friends and loved one’s have died. Please put the rest of the books in this series on audible as soon as you can including the .5s books. Looking forward to hearing all the books in this series and listening again to all when i have the complete set.
