Publisher's Summary

Meet the Space Punks—the only ones crazy enough to challenge the Pentad’s supreme power... And meet the REAL-LIFE Space Punks in this sensational production! The audiobook features eleven insanely talented actors, known from audio and TV, and an original soundtrack. Buckle up for a unique listening experience!

David wakes up in a high-security prison on the forsaken Martian moon Deimos with no memory of his past. A chance encounter with Aztec, a deadly purple-haired cyborg, propels him into a daring jailbreak. She brings him on board a mysterious warship manned by the most notorious and badass crew of the galaxy—the Space Punks. One hundred years ago AI waged a devastating war against its human creators. Humanity won, but barely and at a horrible price. Ever since, the solar system has been strictly controlled by the Pentad, a ruthless coalition of megacorporations. As David tries to regain his memory, he finds himself fighting battles between mechs, cyborgs, robots and super-soldiers alongside his new brothers and sisters-in-arms. But is there more to the Space Punks than meets the eye?

Everyone on board seems to have their own secret agenda. Including their inscrutable leader, known only as the “Duchess.” Needless to say, the Pentad sends out their best people to get rid of this unruly menace. And in the shadows lurks the seemingly defeated enemy, a threat to all humankind, ready to strike again…

Space Punks is a sexy, adrenaline-fueled ride for fans of Firefly and Guardians of the Galaxy!

The story gets better and better. A cast of voice actors and a high quality production.

The first in what is sure to be a great series. I honestly wasn't sure when I read the opening scene how this was going to go, but each next step of the story revealed more and more. More great characters, more depth in the storyline and more world building. This complex world with interesting characters, and a whole range of history to all the conflicts in the first book with hints at even larger tensions and conflicts with nasty characters across the galaxy.

I can't wait for the next one. Anna is always full of surprises and she gets better with each chapter and each new release. The hard work really shows, it's a quality story with a quality cast.

The audiobook has great production values and almost all the voice actors fit beautifully to the roles, Nightingale is my personal favourite. His wisecracks keep it light and entertaining, which makes it fun. The dramatised cast of voice actors means each time I get to listen it's like Netflix for my ears. More enjoyable than a single narrator.
