About this listen

Cooper Fox thought he was just an ordinary guy - until he woke up with superhuman abilities and a target on his back.

Now, he's on a mission to uncover the truth about his past and take down the shadowy organization that created him, a one-man army in a world of corporate greed, government conspiracies, and cutting-edge science gone wrong. Teaming up with Kristin Hegel, a deadly ex-CIA operative with her own agenda, Cooper infiltrates the inner circles of the world's elite, where he'll need every one of his engineered abilities to survive.

But as Cooper digs deeper, he uncovers a global conspiracy that threatens not just his life, but the future of humanity itself. With billionaire-funded super soldiers, Russian operatives, and a mysterious 'sibling' from his past all gunning for him, Cooper must decide who to trust in a world where loyalty is as obsolete as natural DNA.

Not as good as the first in the series, a bit too much intraspection and not enough action and an obvious ending ready for part 3. I hope thats better.

more on the way to vengeance than actual vengeance

A bit of time spent listening whilst travelling is how best to describe this book.

Good. Not great. But good.

Like another review noted, ‘On the Way to Vengeance’ would be a more appropriate title, but it sets up the next instalment nicely.
Brilliantly narrated by Rupert Degas.

Another ripper

Just didn’t seem to go anywhere or perhaps it was just way too predictable and try hard.

Too much dull explaining of small details.
