Summary

Not sure what’s with the hate from some other reviewers. Degas is a master! How can a Brit-Australian male voice actor not get 5-stars with such a spot-on impression of a Californian female bludgeoning the Italian language?! It took a good hour for me to realise I hadn’t misheard Degas as the narrator, his accents are that good.
Sure, the story isn’t revolutionary, but it’s well written and had me fully absorbed in the descriptive imagery.

Cinematic details, plot twists. More gore than strategy but an entertaining listen. I haven’t read the earlier books but can read this without.
