Book two.

I thought this one would be slow, based on where the first left us. But, no, that thread is followed through on well and the action moves forward with surprising little delay.

We learn more about the world and it’s players. There are a number of well handled reveals.

There is a relationship development later in the book that felt rushed and I couldn’t buy into, but other than that really enjoyed it.

This series deserves more attention.

It's bad in any no. of ways. Have read/listened to the series 3x now. I love it

Filled with rape, underage rape, mutilation, prelude to Incest, female abuse and just plain cruelty to the point where it’s disturbing.

If you want to find a book where female characters are well written and the main characters think of other things then sex, look elsewhere as this is not it.
