this book was intricately put together with Japanese culture in mind. however it was complimented with the style of shibaru by the H and H which gave the listener a harmonious quiet time to take a breath.
Christine definitely gave me, personally an insight to this technique and it clarified a lot.
the story was complicated and I had to concentrate on the Japanese names. however once I got that, it all fell into place and i was easier to follow.
I was wondering how Ricco was going to be redeemed seeing as ge was such a playboy in book 1.
but it was written nicely and his H was perfectly matched.
nice pace and slow burn steam but great to see all the characters in play.

The second instalment of the Shadw Rider series is about Ricco Ferraro and Mariko Tanaka. They meet when she attends an interview to be his rope model for his Shibari. The sparks fly from the very beginning when there shadows meet but, they both have secrets that could be deadly to both of them. Ricco's past is catching up with him and if he can't convince Mariko he's worth the risk he could loose the one thing in the world that was made for him just as he was made for her. A brilliant story that enlightnened me about Shibari and well as being a very intense sexual as well as a true love story. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole.

I have listened to this story twice now and each time I listen it's better than the last. The story is really good and the narrator even better. I cant get enough of this series due really is a great aughor
