I loved the premise of the story, an ex assassin turning her back from her mentors, the Illuminati. But for me it failed to make that explosion I was expecting, i was watching a Sci fi movie while listening to this book. Sorry but it didn't held my attention too long. Erynn is a bad ass fmc but something is lacking in the narrator's execution, it didn't resonates to me.
