Publisher's Summary

From the bestselling author of The Nature of Personal Reality

One of the most powerful of the Seth books, Seth Speaks is an essential guide to conscious living. It clearly and powerfully articulates the furthest reaches of human potential and presents the concept that we are independent of our physical image and have access to intuitional knowledge and other dimensions of reality. Seth Speaks has withstood the test of time and is still considered one of the most dynamic and brilliant maps of inner reality and human potential available today.

“Each individual has access to intuitional knowledge and can gain glimpses of inner reality. The universe speaks to each of us in this regard.... Consciousness creates form. It is not the other way around. All personalities are not physical. It is only because you are so busily concerned with daily matters that you do not realize that there is a portion of you who knows that its own powers are far superior to those shown by the ordinary self.

“You have each lived other existences, and that knowledge is within you though you are not consciously aware of it. I hope that this book will serve to release the deeply intuitive self within each of my readers, and to bring to the foreground of consciousness whatever particular insights will serve you most.” - Jane Roberts, Speaking for Seth

Read this book. Now!

Read it again. Read it again next year. Read it once a year. Read it every year.

Still the best channelled material out there.

You won't be the same afterwards.

It opens you up, like LCD, like dreaming you're Alive.

Now live...

So glad these are coming to Audible!

I’ve been hoping the Seth books would make it to Audible and this presentation does not disappoint. It was a good move using several narrators and the one doing Seth does an exceptionally good job in my opinion. I have heard a number of recordings of Jane Roberts in trance and, while fascinating, this narrator makes the material easier to follow.

A MASTERPIECE

This book is an absolute masterpiece. This audiobook version of it is phenomenally dictated using different people for each character. Having Seth be a narrated character gives him life, like the inter-dimensional being he is. My only complaint is that the book does not seem to be the way to Seth wanted it to be. As the author interjects with timestamps, his or her own thoughts, Essentially cutting off a thought mid way through talking about ending the session what time it is and restarting the session. I can see why they did it, to add to the validity of what is going on here, but for those who already know it to be true, I would love to be able to hear it read seamlessly.

Brilliant words by Seth

Seth is genius energy and has greatly helped me. His words are uplifting and beautiful, and sometimes so poetic it makes your soul vibrate with happiness. I loved it. The only problem with the audio is the constant interruption by Robert's commentary. It makes you lose track of what Seth was saying. If they only included the commentary if it was really needed to explain what Seth was saying and excluded the rest, these would be better audiobooks.

Mind-blowing, to say the least!!

This professional recording of the beloved classic has revitalized my interest in the Seth books, making them more accessible than ever. Seth books are the most profound and life-changing material I’ve ever come across. The interplay of the narrators voicing Seth and Robert Butts is nicely juxtaposed. Seth speaks clearly, coherently and at a comfortable pace. Well-done!!

Well performed...consciousness classic

I've read all the Seth books and treasure them, and found that this "staging": of SETH SPEAKS really works well! They have 3 voices, one who reads quite slowly for Seth, another for Robert Butts and a female voice for Jane Roberts. There is something worthwhile on every page and this presentation helps delve in even when you have read the book.

Unnecessary notation

I enjoyed the material immensely- but- the constant pauses to note the time were really off putting. Maybe if you were physically reading the book it wouldn’t have been so noticeable but listening to it on audible was rather annoying. If you could listen to this book without any of the “commentary” it would be amazing.

Fantastic Production

Great production of the material. Long overdue, very much enjoyed the presentation by Braden Wright, Donna Postel and Mel Foster. My only criticism would by using Donna for all the female characters throughout. Thank you! looking forward to more.

Copyright reminders?

It’s such a pity the authors and or publishers decided to remind the listener in this audio production, after every short chapter of the copyright. It unfairly commercializes the content and breaks the listeners flow with a jarring reminder of your “permissible” use of the content, which in itself is so materialistic and clingly from the author/ publisher, that it all comes across as bit contrived at times. Unfortunately the inclusion of all the unnecessary details of the sessions like when it started, don’t help either.

This book was mentioned in one of Dean Radon’s books, in the same sentence as A Course in Miricals. The scribe of this book, who does not even acknowledge authorship, never once even hints at this worldly aspect. I suppose it is something that can be overlooked, but frequency of these just ridicules the content.

I’m a third way through, out of respect for the topic and Seth, I’m going to push through...

Insightful

The style of narration is not what I am use to,however you soon get used to it. Regardless of when it was written you feel as though Seth is speaking directly to you...which he is, be open to the wisdom teachings here and you will learn something valuable.

Not what I hoped for

I was introduced to Jane Roberts and Seth some years ago, but never read any of the books -- instead I discovered a few of the audio and video clips and took some learning from those.

The main problem I'm having with this is the narration style -- firstly, regardless of the 'character' being masculine, the male narration feels and sounds very strange considering the female author, plus the style is very disconnected.

The content, well that can't be helped as it's a product of its time, but it's all a bit long-winded and unnecessary, and a bit 'old' when compared with the material available nowadays.

It's a shame, because I get the principle, and I'm a follower of similar work (Abraham, Bashar etc.) but the style and presentation is making it almost impossible for me to follow.
