Another Excellent Book

Apollos Thorne has quickly become my favorite author in this genre. He masterfully deals with power creep in a way that makes his characters strong but preserves the feeling of real danger.

Even more importantly his characters are not perfect. They make mistakes which feel real and have to deal with the consequences. By real I mean they do not become idiots for plot convenience but rather their mistakes are natural choices someone might make based imperfect information.

On the topic of acting natural, his characters speak and act in realistic ways for the most part. Additionally, they manage to be unique. Far too often in this genre I cannot remember which sarcastic sidekick is which because they all have the same personality. I remember his characters and they feel like friends that I'm catching up with when I read his books.

Finally, he is committed to his stories. This shouldn't be as rare as it is, but I'm sure that anyone who is an avid reader of this genre has felt the annoyance of finding an excellent Litrpg series only to suddenly have it stop and/or to wait years for the next book. It is indescribably frustrating to realize that an author has abandoned a series in the middle. I don't see Apollos doing that, which is probably the best endorsement I can give to read his excellent stories.

WOW... 5 stars out of 5

The first book in this series showed up in my suggestions a week ago. All the books thus far have been captivating to the point of obsession. This book out of all of them is by far my favorite. It’s filled with action and struggle. The progression of the main character is different to other books in this genre that I find unique. Every action has a big effect on the experience earned. The internal struggle with the main character was awesome. I’ve never read a book like this one and cannot wait till the next installment in this series. Graham’s narration of this book also was exemplary. I really do hope to see this story progress further. Time to reread this series just in case I missed something.

By far the best book in the series

By far the best book in the series. This book was action packed. It also had a good duration I felt that some of his books were too short but 16 hours was just about right. Is love the way the main character is progressing. If this book has renewed my interest in the series. I hope the Arthur actually finishes it and doesn't leave us hanging like most arthurs do when they start these series.

Best so far

This was my favorite so far out of this series, and I have enjoyed every book

I especially like how the level scaling actually works without becoming too ridiculous. I usually don’t like it when these kind of books have really high levels, but the order of magnitude scaling system works to sort of reset it all. Like level 10,000 seems just like level 10 in the vampire world and 60,000 is like a high level elder at level 60.

Fan-Flipping-Tastic

This is such an amazing read. Could not be happier with the direction the books have taken. The reader continues to be solid. There’s a lot less number reading in this book, because while it’s still an integral part of the series the problems Elorian are facing are now largely political, emotional, and theoretical. Can’t wait for the next book. Hope it comes soon!

Great continuation of the Saga

The story didn't get old! There was still great character development and world building as the story continues. New monsters, new ability, and steady power building. Loved the ending! Definitely left me hungry for more!

An excellent story

I didn't like the last book as much as the rest of the series but this one was fantastic!
