About this listen
Ethan Montgomery thought he had his life figured out until the moment he and his best friend, Lincoln, met a woman in a wedding dress drinking wine out of a paper bag. Love has never been in the cards for him because he doesn’t realize what is right in front of him.
Lincoln's done his best to ignore his feelings for Ethan and focus on his art. Yet the moment Holland enters the picture, all bets are off and sparks fly.
Only Holland is fresh out of a disastrous relationship that ended with her running away from her cheating groom. She’s not sure she can trust a man again—let alone two.
But the attraction between them cannot be denied and sometimes there’s no going back—even when their pasts try to break them apart.
**Sated in Ink is a friends to lovers, runaway bride, MMF, friends with benefits romance in the Montgomery Ink: Boulder series featuring Ethan, Holland, and Lincoln. Each book can be listened to as a complete standalone. An HEA is guaranteed!**

It was well narrated, Tor Thom did what he could with what is described as a poorly written story. It needs to be better adapted for audio though, because in many conversations it’s difficult to know who is speaking which line.
But the characters were underdeveloped, and extremely immature in their actions and reactions throughout. There was no rhyme or reason for how they went from acting like adolescents to being able to get over their issues and communicate in a way that the relationships could ever possibly last. It was corny, many characters were over the top and I’d describe it as stereotypically “woke”. And the speed at which the characters fell in love was just ridiculously laughable.
I’m disappointed because the possibility for it to be a really great story that explored some of the issues faced by people choosing to be involved in non traditional relationships. I also have no idea why the title is sated in ink… just another mystery I guess.
Disappointing. Don’t waste your time
