Publisher's Summary

The Montgomery Ink saga continues in a seductive romance where a runaway bride and two best friends might just take the chance of a lifetime.

Ethan Montgomery thought he had his life figured out until the moment he and his best friend met a woman in a wedding dress drinking wine out of a paper bag. He might work too many hours and always seems to put his family and friends first. Still, when he finally opens up to Holland and Lincoln, he may just get everything he’s ever wanted.

Holland Yeaton made a horrible mistake, and running out on her wedding seemed like the only thing to do at the time. Taking the next step of her life on her own won’t be easy, but now she has two sexy and bearded strangers to help her figure out exactly what she desires.

Lincoln McClard has loved his best friend for as long as he can remember. Only he’s never dared to do anything about it. Instead, he puts all of his sexual frustration into his art. As soon as he meets Holland, he realizes exactly why he waited for Ethan and what has been missing all along.

However, it’s not only the three of them in this tangled and steamy relationship. And if they aren’t careful, it won’t only be their feelings that get hurt…and broken.

Entertaining

Carrie Ann Ryan is a relatively new author to me and why that is, I have no idea. Sated In Ink is a story of love and friendship and is Lincoln, Ethan and Holland’s story. Narrated by Tor Thom who does a good job bringing the story to life. It is a story of misunderstandings, secrets, love and I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after all three of them deserve. I loved the friendship between Lincoln and Ethan as they finally admitted to their feelings and when Holland was added into the mix, it seemed to complete them. As always some familiar faces popped in and this added to my enjoyment.

Can love with out?

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. The author has written a book about uncertainties, betrayal, a stalker, accepting changes in your life, trying to move on, and accepting , love can last. Ethan, Lincoln, and Holland are all facing difficult decisions in their lives. One of the most difficult is the feeling that love won't last. There were times that I thought it was repeated too many times. I loved how the author had the three characters support and love each other. The secondary characters mainly consists of loving friends and family members. I think that this is the first time that I have heard Tor Thom narrate a book by himself. He is an extremely talented narrator and gave the males and females distinctive voices. Tor is a storyteller who expertly brings the story to life. He portrays the emotions and personalities of these characters. He ranks right up there with some of my favorite narrators. I highly recommend this audible book. It will tug at your emotions and make you feel great at the end.

Repeat repeat repeat

I wanted to love this story, but the way each of them continually said the same negative things over and over and over and over again drove me crazy. If they had taken out most of it, then the book would have only been a third long. We got it so many times that they were all insecure and none of them thought it would work or continue. Really, well I did, I didn't need to be told it every other sentence. Okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but not by much. Tor Thom is a great narrator, but I do wish they would have different ones for the main characters. For me, not worth the credit.

perfect for my commute

Listening to this on my daily work commute made the drive time fly by. I also love the narrator of this one. Lincoln and Ethan have been best friends for longer then most. They have such a strong friendship that they are both hiding their true love for each other. Each afraid of the other finding out and ruining their friendship. In comes Holland who could be the one woman that brings these two men together. The question is if their love is strong enough to survive what comes their way. I really enjoyed this story. Of course, every Carrie Ann Ryan book is awesome in their own way. Knowing Ethan is a Montgomery of "The Montgomery family", you just know their family is there for them no matter what. I love how strong the Montgomery clan is in every story. They definitely stick together.

Emotional, touching and steamy read!

4.5-loved it stars! I am new to the Montgomery Ink series by Carrie Ann Ryan, but I am loving them so far and am so excited to read them all. I had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook of Sated in Ink. Tor Thom was amazing bringing this story to life. I just loved Ethan and Lincoln. They have been best friends for a long time, but what lies under the surface? Enter Holland. Now these two friends have possibly found what they have been missing. Ethan and Lincoln are best friends but have also never let the other know how they truly feel. When a chance meeting with Holland changes everything, you can feel the steamy chemistry pouring from the pages. But could they allow themselves what they truly what? Sated in Ink was emotional and angsty and I loved every minute of it! A definite must read and/or listen! 4.5-stars! Listened and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog. Happy listening!

Ménage à trois - True Love

On what should have been the best day of her life so far, her wedding day, Holland experienced her worst betrayal, she walked in on her sister going down on her fiancee and from the way they were together she knew that it wasn't the first time they'd done this. She ran, in her wedding dress, no purse, no phone just a bottle of wine in a paper bag. She found herself sitting on a park bench alone with nowhere to go. The only thing she was certain of was that she wouldn't allow herself to be hurt again. Lincoln McClard is an up and coming artist, his best friend is Ethan Montgomery who he has loved for years. He's never told Ethan because he didn't want to lose their friendship. He's kept himself focused on his art mostly although at the moment he seems to have some sort of block stopping him working. Ethan Montgomery is a workaholic he's a computational chemist and he's been in love with his best friend Lincoln since he was a teenager but he too is afraid to say anything for fear of losing Lincoln altogether. They both thought he had their lives figured out until the day they met Holland, she was a sight to behold sitting on a bench in her wedding dress drinking wine from a paper bag. None of them had any idea how much this encounter would change their lives. Lincoln and Ethan came to her rescue, they helped her find somewhere to stay and the three became friends. But as time passed they guys both realised that she was the missing link they both needed in their lives and knowing this they decided to take the step they had both been afraid to take. They admitted to each other that they wanted not only each other but Holland too - could they make this work? Would Holland agree? I loved both Ethan and Lincoln and liked how they both thought the attraction they felt for each other was one-sided, they were both great guys who deserved to find happiness. Holland's family were horrid, and although Lincoln parents love him they moved away years ago and Ethan's family became his family. He was as far as they were concerned part of the Montgomery clan. I liked Holland but did get a little frustrated with how she considered herself to not be as important in their relationship as the guys when as far as they were concerned she was the most important part, she was glue holding them together. I liked Lincoln's cousin Madison who was like a sister to him and meeting characters from the previous books again was great. I loved how Carrie Ann ended the story with the Epilogue and its surprise. The narration by Tor Thom is awesome, he has a natural talent and is an incredible storyteller. He brought the characters to life and brought out their personalities. Allowing us to hear and feel all their emotions. It was a joy to listen to him bring Carrie Ann's work to life. I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

It’s a great listen!

Sated In Ink a sexy MMF ménage which is part of a standalone series but it’s not essential to read the previous books to enjoy this one (I didn’t). It’s a great read that I’d definitely recommend.

Speechless

This one has just taken all my words. I loved that in this relationship it wasn’t all about one character, each character had its place and this made it so much more enjoyable. Definitely a 5 star book if not a 6 star book

Sensual and Hot!

What do you do when you have loved your best friend forever, but have never told him? Lincoln has been him love with Ethan for years. When these two meet Holland, a runaway bride in a bar, their lives are about to change. Holland left her fiancé at the alter knowing the match is not one of love. Now she may be the catalyst of this trios’ journey to true love. This story has a so many facets. These best friends have a special relationship, something that has been building for years, but never acted on. Holland has been looking for that something special, but with meddling parents, she never stood up for herself to find her happiness. When these three are together, it’s like magic. But life can’t be that easy. Will 3 in a relationship work? Will the families accept their unusual relationship? Will Holland go back to her fiancé? How will Ethan and Lincoln deal with their new normal? So many things to take into consideration and Carrie Ann Ryan finds a way to weave it all together. It’s fantastic! Tor Thom gives a phenomenal performance as he narrates this ménage. He easily transfers between characters, and his voices are smooth as silk. His performance is easy to fall into. He is a master storyteller and I can’t wait for his next narration!

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Steamy & Heartfelt!

Carrie Ann Ryan delivers another fantastic novel in her “Montgomery Ink: Boulder” series! I loved this book, once I started it I did not want to put it down. The characters are awesome, Ethan Montgomery and Lincoln McClard have been best friends for years, each secretly wants more than friendship but is afraid to take that next step, afraid it will ruin their friendship. Holland Yeaton was about to get married, a wake-up call has her running from her wedding, bridal gown and all. She is drowning her sorrows when approached by two gorgeous men, Ethan and Lincoln. They talk for a while and offer to help her out. I was really rooting for Ethan & Lincoln to take the next step, but when Holland comes into the picture and they both realize they have feelings for her it all makes sense. She was just what they needed, she was the glue to their trifecta. A lot goes on in this book, they face challenges and there is plenty of drama, angst, and some hot romance, a triple delight! Carrie Ann Ryan, thank you for another amazing story & the emotional rollercoaster ride. Tor Thom is an awesome narrator and voice artist, he is a natural talent and an entertaining storyteller. He brings the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. He is awesome at portraying the characters too, humanizing them in such a way that you hear all their emotions, their passion which all comes out in his performance. It is always a pleasure to listen to his work he is amazing at what he does. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧
