About this listen

This memoir, Rudra Meditation: Transforming Life's Tensions into Joy and Love, is interwoven with the teachings I received from Rudi, an American spiritual master who transformed ancient Hindu and Buddhist religion into a force of energy that transmutes the negative elements in a human being into a spiritual life. He made it possible for me to have a spiritual life while living in a city as intense as New York.

The book deals with chakra development, internal balance, gratitude, an open heart, kundalini, and a quiet mind. It also speaks about a nine-year journey I took in search of a teacher who had mastered a meditation practice that enabled him to be at peace with himself.

Tension is humanity's worst enemy, and Rudra Meditation, in a very tangible way, uses a breathing technique that can transform negative energy into a positive way of living. It develops important elements in a human being: the ability to live in the world with an open heart, to recognize that life is sacred, and to connect with a Higher Force of Energy in the Universe. It gives us the strength to work out karma and attain the pinnacle of what it means to be alive...to become a happy person who lives with joy, love and compassion in their heart.
