I love the book so much but I don't want to say he u love the last book Adore! this one

Let me spoil the story without having to go through the details because frankly the story is non-existent, just feels with very little context and hamfisted contrivance - the MC doesn't feel any stakes, so why should you?

Erhem. Plot happens from previous book. oh look, that character exists - briefly touch on pass annnd press the skip button. Yup. Details missed, but who cares? You don't, I don't and the author doesn't seem to. FLASHY ENTRANCE! Plot? Uh, intrigue, I guess? Conclusion! How did we get there? Who cares? Big bad just dies apparently, by the by. Oops? GODHOOD!

Ugh.

Performers work with what they have and on that front they're fine though so I guess there's that.

It just getting beyond a joke how arrogant the main character is getting. If you like that in a MC this book is for you.
I could already see people plotting behind his back too kill his loved ones the sec he stepped away. And how would he ever learn who did it?, or they just use someone who's willing to die afterwards to the MC rage.
