Publisher's Summary

Video game coder Harley Kelso thought a tandem skydive would help her make her latest game more realistic. Instead, it literally put her in the arms of the sexiest man she's ever seen. Geeky to the core, Harley is the polar opposite of big and burly Beckett, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to play more carnal games with the sexy soldier.

When Beckett "Coach" Ralston offers to fill-in at a friend's skydiving club, he doesn't suspect he'll meet a woman who will change his life - and he definitely doesn't expect her to save it. But that's exactly what happens when an accident mid-air forces Harley to land them both safely. She's earned Coach's complete gratitude, and even more, sexual interest.

Until she disappears without a trace.

With Harley missing, a happy ending might not be in the cards for the man who loves her - especially when he becomes the main suspect.

Awesome

Love Stella's narrations! She puts so much feeling into the reading. I hate when a narrator just "reads" the book.

Not very good

Compared to the other books in this series, it's got a much more boring storyline. Very little action. No real crime, mystery or suspense. And the female character puts herself down way too much.

Loving the narrator, Stella Bloom

Love all the "Protecting" and "Rescuing" Susan Stoker books. But the narrator, Stella Bloom, really adds to the experience.

Started out good

It started out good but then became rather boring. I didn't have to force myself to complete it but I didn't loose sleep in wondering what would happen next either.

Romantic story. Modern Cinderella

The Narration was good. You can really get involved with the characters. The ending is believable the way it developed. And the guy gets the girl in the end and every one lives happily together.

Nerds need love too!

I found this audiobook story in this series to be romantic and suspenseful. The hero meets the heroine, who is a computer nerd that designs video games, when he helps out one of his buddies with a sky diving class. She’s not his usual type, but he’s instantly attracted to her. After an ex expected complication, he pursues her romantically and they fall in love. When she suddenly goes missing and he becomes the police chief suspect in her disappearance, the team races to find her before it’s too late. The characters of this author’s stories are hot sexy military operators and I found this one to be one of my favorites. Narration was very well done!

Had Me On the Edge of My Seat!

Wow! This one had me on the edge of my seat. Coach and Harley’s story gave me the feels and had me wanting to know what was going to happen next. The narration by Stella Bloom always on point.

Coach and Harley met during a parachute jump gone wrong. Harley had saved Coach’s life that day. Coach was thankful for what she did and her quick thinking in the dangerous situation but before that, he had known there was something special about Harley. She was an introverted self proclaimed nerd who designed video games for a living. She wore glasses and dressed in large t-shirts and jeans but there was something about her that made Coach want to have her as his, forever. When Harley goes missing, Coach and his Delta team do everything they can to find and rescue her.

This one has all the feels a romance reader would want. Swoon alpha, a heroine with strength and vulnerability and a great love story that keeps you wanting more.

Military romance suspense in style!

You can always count on Susan Stoker to deliver incredible military romance escapism. Her books tick all the relevant criteria: sexy (check); suspense (check); alpha male (check); sweet (check).... and the list goes on. These books are filled with strong yet vulnerable characters that you cannot help but fall in love with. Just be aware, it is very difficult to put down or stop listening to these books part way through the story.

Rescuing Harley is everything you expect from Susan Stoker. Harley and Coach's story is sweet, sensitive and packed with enough sexual and suspenseful momentum to sail you through to the end. True to her usual style, Ms Stoker artfully touches on sensitive issues that affect our world today, giving an added depth and relevance to the story.

I enjoyed this book and I am already eagerly waiting for Susan Stoker's next book.
