Though many if the illustrations are dated (1940’s) the message is still powerful . I enjoyed the short chapters , everyday language as well as the excellent narration.

First book I’ve read by CSLewis- packed full of concise truths. Very very good synopsis of Christianity. Lots of helpful illustrations.
Language is dated due to its age. Someone could do an updated version soon would be even better.

The purpose of this book is to explain the Orthodox Christian beliefs as simply as possible whilst avoiding points of disagreement. It does this job well. Ultimately I'm grateful for having read this book as it has revealed to me that my personal beliefs are actually Heterodoxical, and I prefer it that way

C S Lewis does not disappoint. In this ‘introduction’ to Christianity Lewis makes it clear that Christianity is all about true ‘life’ - Zoe. Lewis introduces and illustrates so masterfully the heart of Christianity being Christ himself. He does not decline or to refuse to engage with his critics and supplies exceptional rationale and thoughtful argument in making his case. Well worth a second, third and fourth listen and read. Thanks to Geoffrey Howard who catches Lewis’ intent so well.
