Finally, a book/series that has kept me hooked. liked the premise, characters and narration. The story changed enough to throw a twist in things and keep me listening. Thanks guys

cross between starship troopers and alien

Pretty generic sci fi with a fairly predictable plot. entertaing enough but it did wear thin about half way through, definitely a slog to finish it. A lot of very positive reviews but I'm my opinion there are much better written stories out there (Bobiverse series fire example). Voiced well which helps.
