Story
Once, Walt Lawson saved the world. Lately, he's lived in peaceful anonymity with his girlfriend Carrie. This morning, she's been kidnapped. Walt has a single lead: the van that took her. With the aid of a local guide, Walt homes in on the kidnappers, who are days from shipping Carrie far away. But Walt's past is about to crash down on his rescue plans.

Story
In the fast-paced Breakers series, humanity faces not one apocalypse, but two: first a lethal pandemic, then a war against those who made the virus. It's been six years since the plague and Tristan has spent five of them in Maui with her brother Alden. Life seems quiet. Simple. Peaceful. All these illusions are torn away when she discovers an alien installation hidden in the mountains. In response, she prepares a boat and starts work on a new home deep in the forest.

The government was dead wrong. Deep under the cities, the Variants weren't just hiding, they were breeding. While the human survivors of the Extinction Cycle built outposts and brought back industries, the monsters were building something of their own.

Story
Young Cally is an apprentice within the most unusual order of sorcerers in the known world: the only one that forbids its members from using their powers to kill. Despite his lowly status, Cally's chosen by the Master of the Order to join a delegation to see their allies the Lannovians. The meeting will be historic: 60 years ago, the Order's enemies attacked them with a host of demons, forcing the Order to trap the monsters inside their own citadel and seal it shut with impenetrable wards. The trick worked so well the Order hasn't been able to get it back open since.

Story
A thousand years ago, an alien invasion set humanity back to the Iron Age. Slowly, we recovered, colonizing the Solar System in peace. And discovered that an unknown force is stopping us from exploring any farther. But before the cause can be discovered, a slow-burning conspiracy threatens to explode into System-wide war. With enemies at home and in the darkness beyond, a team of unlikely heroes-a janitor, a mercenary, an asteroid miner, and a pirate-are the only ones who can avert a second apocalypse. This set includes the first three books of the newly-finished REBEL STARS series.
Publisher's Summary
Anson's army has driven Raina from the mainland, but the war is far from over. From the safety of Catalina Island, she launches a guerrilla campaign, meaning to weaken him cut by cut.
She finds herself matched at every step by his grimly determined lieutenant, Lowell. With progress slower than expected, Raina is forced to accept the creation of a war council. But the council's will to fight is weakening by the day. Pressured by her enemies and from within, Raina soon finds her grip on the island slipping.
But the threat of losing her people is nothing compared to the threat Ness and his alien friend Sebastian have discovered across the Pacific.
The seventh post-apocalyptic Breakers novel, Relapse is the setup to the explosive finale of the series.

Very entertaining! !
I really liked these books and hate to see them end. I would recommend to any one who likes a good long read. I never lost interest which I sometimes do with a long series.

Best one yet
The stories are finally coming together with crazy twists and new character. Each is showing some growth while holding to their core values. I don’t want to give any more away but you should definitely give this entire series a listen in order. Can’t wait to start the next.

The Worst part of book 7?
If you could sum up Relapse in three words, what would they be?
knowing that book 8 is the last one in the series!
Which scene was your favorite?
This well developed series is one that I wish would keep going.
Any additional comments?
A well written series with overlapping characters each with their own story and set of challenges. Overcoming obstacles and trials to achieve a great ending, just sad it ended.
