Absolutely loved the second book in these triology, look forward to the last installment

Action packed

Mera and Shadow’s adventures continue as their growing bond does as well. Mera helps Shadow deal with issues pertaining to the Shadow World and along the way they fall for each other in a big way. As the story unfolds there are surprises a plenty and some scorching hot sexual interactions between our main characters and just when you think things have reached a crescendo another curveball is thrown into the mix and you are left wanting to know where it goes next. I highly recommend this book and the series as a whole because the story firmly held my interest from beginning to end. I like a story with supernatural content, hot sex, humour and action a plenty and it is delivered in spades in this book and the series in general. Now off to the third book and conclusion to the series.

Book 2 of 3, and it didn't disappoint. The story stayed well-paced and didn't feel like it lagged at all.

The connection between Mera and Shadow was hot and sweet and hilarious. The side characters added to the world building, and I look forward to additional books about them.

This ended on a cliffhanger as well, and you better believe I went straight onto book 3.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible. The audio is in duet style and absolutely perfect. I would encourage everyone to listen to the audio if only to hear the voices of the characters be cause I'll never be able to unhear the gravel and growl or the Sass.
