This was such an absorbing whodunnit, I absolutely loved the complex murder set up and investigation! I also loved the progress Tallus and Diem are making on their blossoming relationship. Diem has had an abusive childhood thanks to a violent, bullying father. Over the series we’re watching him slowly heal and rehabilitate with the help of Tallus, who steadfastly refuses to take ‘no’ for an answer. Diem was not a favourite character early on, but I’m warming to him as more of his struggles and attempts to overcome them are revealed. 🎧 Nick J Russo is always excellent: he’s perfect for voicing Tallus and I’m really warming to his gruffer voice for Diem.
Absorbing murder plot and heartfelt romance!
