About this listen

As a parent of a teenager with autism and a special education teacher, I intimately understand the daily challenges families like ours face. Raising a teenager is hard enough, but when autism is part of the equation, the journey becomes even more complex. Adolescence is already a time of physical and emotional growth, but for teens with autism, it’s also marked by unique cognitive and sensory experiences that many people don’t fully understand.

Our teens must navigate a world that often demands social conformity, all while managing sensory overload, masking their true selves, and coping with the pressure of fitting in. It’s easy to feel isolated in this experience. However, this book is designed to guide you through these challenges, offering practical advice and insights from both my personal experience and professional expertise.
