outstanding storytelling

Liked the story, but maybe better to read than listen after about book 10. Love Baldree's work as always, but for some reason, from then on the female characters were narrated by Elizabeth Evans, and I'm not a fan. The change was jarring, and Evans seemed to have a bit of difficulty keeping voices and accents straight I think. For example Jasmine, who'd always had a fairly normal accent suddenly seems to develop some sort of Russian/European accent in book 11. And most of the high blood etc. accents were way too over the top 'toff'. These are the main reasons for less stars on performance - as I said, Travis Baldree was excellent. Other than some of the fight scenes taking way too long, and some annoying changes in point of view along the way, most of it was/is a really good story so far.

I was eagerly anticipating the release of this book and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to see what TurtleMe has in store for the next chapter of Arthur’s story.

I'm glad that I did not drop the book in book 9, unlike book 9. 10 and 11 has a better pacing and not a slog to read. Every enjoyable to read. Now I have to wait for book 12 :(
