About this listen

It is no easy thing, to give a person—any one person—the ability to rewrite the truth of power in this world. How could any one being hold in their hands the key to fate and not succumb to the inevitable corruption of such a thing?

Arthur Leywin's quest for the power he knows only as Fate becomes even more pressing as his most dangerous foes gain a terrible new power. When the war between the dragons of Epheotus and the basilisks of Alacrya erupts across Dicathen, the people Arthur cares about most find themselves trapped in a clash of deities. The only way to master Fate and protect them, though, is to place them directly in harm's way in the ultimate gambit.

Turtleme continues to pump out banger after banger and I love it, Travis did a great job too he has such a good vocal range.

Absolute peak

Not sure why they added an additional narrator right towards the end of the series. I thought with a female voice in it - one would be one one doing male voices and the other the female voices interchangeably. While this is somewhat true, it is per chapter and not in the moment. it threw things off after getting used to only Travis voice for so long. I'm just picking at straws at this point, is was a great series, first anime I've ever delved so far into to actually get into the novels and I'm sure if the additional narrator was there from the start I wouldn't have had this issue.

Great series.

I was eagerly anticipating the release of this book and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to see what TurtleMe has in store for the next chapter of Arthur’s story.

Another great book and performance.

I'm glad that I did not drop the book in book 9, unlike book 9. 10 and 11 has a better pacing and not a slog to read. Every enjoyable to read. Now I have to wait for book 12 :(

The progression of how the story played out

great book with immense depths. but instead of the two the nawriters working together to give a great performance it constantly switches between them witch actually becomes quite irritating.

what a great time

It’s a good story and I’m curious to see where it all ends up but. Having two narrators is jarring, I feel like I’m constantly playing catch up bc I have to figure out which character I’m listening to. Honestly I don’t think I’d have continued reading if the first book was like this.

Good but..

I would like to say Hi and great job for both Travis and our new out-comer Elizabeth!

What would i do with my life now without this masterpiece of a book and performance

looking forward to the end of this series, I absorbed the first books back to back and loved them, this one seemed a bit slower paced and felt like it took awhile to get to the point.

the legacy is like an annoying petulant child, ignorant and unable to think of anyone but themselves, even to their own detriment, I honestly hate the character and wish they'd kill her, not in a good way where you hate the bad guy or the story is written in a way for you to dislike or hate a character, I just actually hate the way she is written, she doesn't add anything meaningful to the story.

There were way to many point of view changes, away from the main character. The story feels like a meandering creek that never joins the raging river of excitement, just culminates in a quiet little pond of reflection and then the story ends.

Good but Meh

This was an amazing book it’s great that we have some sort of conclusion to some of many storyline, but that’s what make me said, I love this because it have over 100 hours of books and I can just listen and get pulled into the story, but I’m said that I’m all caught up now so I will have to wait for book 12 which may be out in a year or 2… I just hope I’ll be able to find another story and great as this one

So happy and sad
