About this listen

Insane cult trying to undermine the stability of society? Powerful mage whose very presence unmakes the world?

John doesn’t care. He’s getting married.

After rescuing Katrine, sealing himself into a manaless state, and defending against the most dangerous beast tide the world has ever seen, John only has one thing on his mind. Getting married, and going on a honeymoon. Oh, and trying to figure out a way to keep the world in one piece.

That quest will take him to worlds unknown, and pit him against enemies beyond anything he has ever faced. Thankfully, he’s not alone, and between Ellie and Ferdie, he has the best companions a simple farmer could ask for.

This was on the whole an enjoyable read. One of my favourite series. It has gotten to the point however where the OP status is starting to harm plot development and resolution and character development is dying off.

Still enjoyable but…

This is a creative and entertaining series. Bloodthirsty, yes, but generally wholesome. The characters are fully rounded and believable, and the story is engaging. Sadly, like many internet-generated authors in a variety of genres, their grasp of grammar is a little lacking. So yes, for edification, especially if you're an internet baby. Fruit is fruit, grain is grain; only fish is acceptable to be referred to as fishes (in casual English, according to select dictionaries).
Keep reading and enjoying. If you liked this series, you will love Beware of Chicken. Nary a complaint to be had.

The plural of grain is grain.
