It was a ride!

Thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook from beginning to possible end. There are a few things that may warrant another book and if so I’ll buy it right away. But these last four books absolutely fantastic love the story love the development of the characters. I truly enjoyed the gap‘s of information letting you guess as to what the solution for that particular problem may be. As to the final fight in the fourth book it was a surprise was not expecting how the main character resolved the issue totally contrary but understandable to his previous thought process. Do not want to give away any clues as to how the problem was resolved because what’s the fun in that?

So good

Really enjoyed the final confrontation and the closing scene. Definitely surprised that the series fit so we'll in a 6 book set.

2 words - Andrea Parsneau

Great finish to a great series. This series moves and Parsneau drives it perfectly.

Felt Rushed

There was no problem with the action, though it felt uneven in that only the main characters fight was focused on and little to none on the main battle with the other main characters. What surprised me was how the story ended and left a lot of unanswered questions considering that this is the final book in the power mage series. I question on the method he used to defeat the tiger mage. What about the tiger mage's family what happened to them? (no revenge?) What happened to the psionic community, did they also found out about the tiger mage's deception and scheme? Long story short, the last book felt rushed, unless there will be another book in the series, then I'd understand. Maybe make a side story that could answer those questions, like the valens legacy "wives tales." The narrator is still just ok. she's good in making various accented voices, though she has fewer voices for the male parts and they almost always laugh the same. I don't claim to understand the difficulty of being a narrator, just giving my opinion on how it sounds.

Great ending

honestly a great urban fantasy saga, the ending was top notch and the complete story is something I will definitely listen to again in the future. I recommend Power Mage and Valens Legacy as the top 2 urban fantasy harem novels to listen to here on audible.

Fantastic Book, Fantastic Series!

What can I say......a Marvelous conclusion to a Fantastic series. Truly epic in scope it was most satisfying in conclusion. The characters were great and definitely memorable. Excellent! And Andrea Parsneau is absolutely masterful in her narration! Absolutely Fantastic experience all the way around!

satisfying

honestly the start of the book leads me to feel that Hondo wrote book 5 and 6 in one stretch and just split them near the middle, there is no intro or anything, just more action... fine if you just finished book 5 otherwise a bit jarring. that however is my only complaint of the entire book :) bloody close to being an outright masterpiece.. as for Andrea, I've actually forgotten what her actual voice sounds like, every single one sounds so natural. can we please clone her and put all the average or worse narrators out of work??

Good ending but rushed

There was allot to unpack at the end and it could have been made longer to help explain all the changes going on. Awesome narrowing and I'll have to hunt down more books narrated by Parsneau
