loved every minute of it, easy to follow story with some very charming characters.
The narrator seemed like they were reading to a child and that took away from the immersion a little, but altogether a great book

mediocrity floats to the surface In this pool of easy listening fantasy tropes. came for the forgotten realms lore, stayed for the stubborn refusal to give up on a story which was surely going to stitch together half baked character sheets with the right amount of twists and turns and the thrilling action dicerolls would critically hit in the end. what we get here is mostly a miss with too many myopic sidequest villains wrapped in a wafer thin hallmark card drama. look, I know it's not meant to be Dickens but don't insult the reader with this colour by numbers attempt at a dnd adventure
