A most-anticipated title from USA Today, Goodreads, BookPage, BookRiot, Seattle Times, and The Nerd Daily!

Everyone's favorite lethal SecUnit is back in the next installment of Martha Wells' bestselling and award-winning Murderbot Diaries series.

Having someone else support your bad decision feels kind of good.

After volunteering to run a rescue mission, Murderbot realizes that it will have to spend significant time with a bunch of humans it doesn't know.

Including human children. Ugh.

This may well call for … eye contact!

(Emotion check: Oh, for f—)

“This spectacular journey, punctuated with satisfying combat scenes, takes on an epic flavor grounded by Murderbot’s sardonic voice and Wells' exploration of mental health and physical well-being. Equal parts action packed, humorous, and heartfelt, this proves the series shows no signs of slowing down.”—Publishers Weekly

Listened to the audiobook. Kevin R. Free did a wonderful narration. I can’t get enough of this series!

Amazing!

Always love a good Murderbot story. Nice to meet more of the family and have Three involved too. Love the dry humour and pace of the story

Love the dry humour

Kevin Free's narration has improved steadily along the series, and shines in this book. His tone prefecture captures murderbot's sarcastic, whiny, confused inner monolog, full of repressed anger and moments of reflection and growth.

Fun, casual listening

I love the erratic and snippet-like way Martha Wells writes Murderbot. It's like Wells writes an epic sci-fy/fantasy novel, while scribbling Murderbot in the margins.
I love this character!
The hilarious, terrified, neurodivergent, media-loving armoured brain friend that makes me feel seen.

Don't give Nana a gun!

I loved every minute. I only wished it was longer, more of it and .. more murderbot please!

More please!
