Die Fee gab Pinocchio Medizin und schickte ihren Boten, den Falken zu Meister Zorntiegel, um ihn ins Schloß einzuladen. Während Pinocchio seinem Vater freudig entgegen laufen wollte, wurde er von einem köstlichen Apfelduft abgelenkt. Seine Neugier brachte ihn vom Weg ab und ließ ihn in ein Falle tappen. Ein verärgerter Bauer fand ihn auf frischer Tat ertappt und nahm ihn zur Strafe mit auf seinen Hof, um ihn dort an ein Hundehalsband festgekettet gefangen zu halten. Ein freundlicher Marder hilft Pinocchio zu befreien. Er macht sich auf die Suche nach dem Schloß, um endlich seinen Vater wiederzusehen...
