I love these books. They are, at their heart, character driven books. The relationships develop organically throughout the story. There’s beautiful, understated humour and banter. They are not rollicking, fast paced adventures, but are far from boring! Just love them. For those wondering, one open door spicy scence.

Just lovely. I enjoyed every moment of this and Paladins Grace - as a 35yo woman, the absence of a petulant tantrum throwing juvenile FMC or cruel, despondent, aggressive MMC was *chefs kiss*. Truly a unique tale and wonderful love story. I have so much respect for all of the characters. A breath of fresh air in a world of infantile fantasy.

I really enjoyed the story which had enough depth to hold my interest, a gentle love story with a little spice and a lot of tension, but I enjoyed the tongue in cheek humour the most.
