I just loved this book. The whole series was incredible actually! but this book was so intense I was on the edge of my seat for it and that very last sentence gave me goosebumps. I am obsessed with everything T.Kingfisher does!

Great story, deftly written. I always look forward to diving back into this world of gods and terrifying wonders. Kingfisher consistentlt strikes the perfect blend of horror and romance. Also, I freakin love gnoles - they're completely alien and strikingly familiar, and each of them have been interesting characters so far.

I enjoyed this latest entry in Kingfishers Paladin series. I’m hoping she continues the series in the future! There are a few spicy scenes in the book.
