Don’t piss off the Elite Class. That wasn’t in the rulebook, but it should have been. Landon, Michael, and Cole may have the faces of angels, but a soul turns black when it’s betrayed. “Madison Kate Danvers was murdered tonight.” Those words changed my life, and not for the better. They were wrong, of course. I wasn’t dead. But I was set up. After being charged with a string of offences - and made an example of by my political-minded father - I’m eventually released back into Shadow Grove with one thing on my mind. Hate. Someone is going to pay for derailing my carefully laid-out future. How very convenient that someone just moved into the bedroom down the hall from me.

They think they won. The Elite thought it would end at the battle, but I'm taking them to war. I will topple Landon, Michael, and Cole off their thrones, even if it means bringing the system to its knees. Tensions are boiling beneath the surface of Breakbattle Academy. Protests are erupting, the lower classes are fighting back, and the Elites aren’t as invulnerable as they thought. The school is ready to blow. All they need is the right girl to light the match.

I'm losing control. I can't stop now. I can't undo what I've done. I came here for one purpose, but I may lose what is most important in the process. It wasn't supposed to be like this. Evergreen Academy was meant to be my fresh start. My hair was on point. My skin was flawless. And now, I wore the hell out of my clothes instead of hiding them. Even running into Ryder hadn't thrown me. So what if the silver-eyed devil who tormented me for years now ruled my new school with a band of boys everyone called the Knights. Every hidden lie uncovered. I won’t allow the tyranny and manipulation over our lives to continue. The madness ends here. I just pray it’s not too late to save us all.
