About this listen
Russia is playing mind games...They've changed the rules.
Can 280 characters destroy a nation?
Avery Goodyear, a romance editor from the suburbs, becomes a player in an international game of psychological warfare.
The FBI watches the attacks unfold in real time. The enemy's strategy: win hearts and minds to destroy American unity. The FBI focuses its secret weapon, ex-Army Ranger Rowan Kennedy, at the crisis.
With a PhD in propaganda, Kennedy puts everything on the line to expose the wealthy oligarchs and high-powered schemers threatening our way of life...and to protect Avery.
To beat the enemy at their own game, Rowan and Avery must break the rules. It only complicates things that they're falling in love.
The game is on. The set is in play. Who will win the match?

Topical, self referential in a really fun way

There were more domestic missions and modern day terrorism via media that has interesting concepts.
There was no lynx in this novel but there is iniquus panther force..so exciting.
Because I'm listening chronologically to the iniquus world, I'm covering 4 different series which keeps characters current but the plots are different.
It was truly amazing to see this story unfold with Ms Quinns writing.
The H and h were addressed on a more personal level which gave hint to romance and some steam. Between getting to know the personal daily goings on of the characters, the mission moves at a good pace, unfolding nicely.
Other characters from previous books surfaced and I they will be centered in future novels.
Fiona runs a scary parallel to what's happening in the world today and how easy it is to be scammed.
Teddy Hamilton is brilliant as ever, he is really good with this genre.
domestic real world aligning with these thrills H abd h romance more than usual
