While I enjoyed seeing Steve, find a person he could be with, this story was simplistic in its mission but complicated with political intentions. It joins the adversaries together in quite a few of Fionas previous books, so in a way, I'm glad I had listened as i knew who these characters were. But in saying that, you can read this as a standard alone.
The survival skills and the research it took for Ms Quinn to write this, is as per usual incredible. Everything seems to fold together as each book moves along.
I am listening to her novels in chronological order so I have different series all meshing together to create the stories and carry the flow on of chsractrts from previous books.
Troy Duran did a marvellous job of narrating as per usual and I am looking forward to the next book.
